Ok, so my domain expires in 2 weeks, but I want to keep it,

Problem is, my current domain registrar messed with their Paypal settings, and now it's trying to force me to add a Credit card to my account.

So now I need to find a new one.

Requirements:
  • Must accept Paypal FROM THE BALANCE, NOT a Credit card.
  • Must come to UNDER $10/year after all the fees and everything, for a domain TRANSFER.
  • Preferably someone that's trusted.
  • If they take Canadian balance, that's so much better.(No exchange fees, but I don't mind if the exchange puts the total over $10)

GoDaddy is out right off the bat, they ONLY take CC

I can't use a parents Credit card as my mom's are all maxed out(we're in a financial situation right now) and my Dad lives far away.

I will tell you right now, even if you do find one, you will have to pay a transfer fee, as well as a rewenal fee, so there is no reason to wait until your domain almost expires.

I can't think of any off the top of my head though.

I assume you have a bank account right? do you have a check card?
You sure? Up until Godaddy made me use a Credit card, they only had me pay $9.28 CAD, for a transfer AND one year renewal.

My Paypal would be linked to my "Check Chard"/bank account, yes.

I'm not waiting until it expires, I'm just pointing out that time is running out.

I am, but I like my domain and it's one of the few things I'm willing to spend on atm.

No they don't, I pay with Paypal.

But you need a verified Paypal, just like 99% of all other online businesses.

Just go to your bank and get a Visa Debit card. You can use that to verify your Paypal. That's what I did.

EDIT: Oh and by the way, don't let your domain expire...usually you have to pay like $80 to renew it if it expires, or wait a year for it to be regular priced again.

Paypal says I AM verified, my main bank doesn't do Visa Gift-cards, and my second account in the local bank that DOES isn't fully open because I either don't have ID on me, or I'm not near a branch.

And it's $28 if it expires >.< (On godaddy  )

(Canada = no Visa Debit cards)

Hence my coming to BF2s for advice >.<

Dreamhost is also out, they use Google Checkout.

Paypal's going through a strange phase right now, hopefully it'll solve itself in a couple days and I'll be able to properly renew it.

You're going to have this problem pretty much no matter where you go. You need a debit/credit card attached to your Paypal for it to be verified.

I DO have a Debit card attached, guess I shoulda mentioned earlier, I put money into my account FROM my Debit a couple weeks ago, but Godaddy tells me to add a CREDIT card to continue.

And Freehostia don't work AT ALL anymore, it redirects to paypal that tells me LiquidNet isn't accepting this or something of that matter, then redirects me back.

Your debit cards must be different than ours, because my GoDaddy works just fine with Paypal with my debit card attached. I don't even own a credit card.
