The only differences would be more of you would drink at people's parties on and around campus/houses rather than at pubs and clubs. Around here most bar workers/regulars know who the local kids are and let them in and I guess keep an eye on them, although most people just drink at house parties. Bars that are around college campuses will sometimes let you in if you have that certain local college ID on you.

I can't wait until I'm 18 (few months). Always get ID'ed so being able to walk in will be sweet. And considering I get out for lunch and am in the centre of town for school, it should be nice.

The Wisconsin legal drinking age used to be 18 until it was changed to 21 like every other fricken state, yet, 18 year olds don't have a problem with that and still drink and party in college.
