Monitor not working properly

So I go to play half life death match 'cause I'm old skool you know?

And I get this message from my monitor, it just flickers black, then displays this

"Input not supported"

But it works again when I alt+tab outta the game.

Everything else works, other games work.

Halp!

Specs in sig...not that they're worth reading. And the monitor is an AOC.

Maybe the game is trying to run in a res not supported by the monitor?

That's what I got.

Try editing game settings via config files.

Managed to play it fine the other day.

I'd try for a reinstall of the game. You may have changed some setting accidentally and now your screwed. Either way it's worth a shot.
