Could be a planned exp. pack...unnamednewbie13 wrote:
Yeah, Manifest Destiny thrown out the window. To be honest, it's a bit late in real history for the general <1850 setting, centering more on the latter part of the 1800's. Give it an expansion, and hope we get to play to 1920, and have grand campaigns with no year progression. It would be awesome to advance your 'era' beyond others.
But you should be worrying about the lack of the Civil War first.

Empires: World War 1 would be awesome.

the last section of Road to Independence allows you to play as America same as in Grand campaign. The only difference is that you will not see it in GC menu when choosing states. You will have to always go to Road to Independence menu and just click the last chapter.ColCarnage wrote:

Damn the Ottomman empire are stubborn as fuck. I have taken over every one of their regions but 3 and yet they refuse to surrender every time I lay siege. It's also really time consuming trying to take over their whole empire, whilst keeping their damn population happy. I need more priests.
I won it with like one unit left it when i did itRavyGravy wrote:

You can't change tax rates in different regions, but you can exempt them from tax.Fallschirmjager10 wrote:
So, my first ever Total War game I decide to be Prussia and take out Poland-Lithuania soon as the game starts. War against them is a success but the towns are revolting ect, how do you keep them happy? I put religious gentlemen in them and am going to build opera houses ect, and I could lower taxes but that would really hurt my income. I thought I seen somewhere you could set taxes per region is that true? Halp pl0x
