Photoshop Drag and Drop

In case you guys haven't noticed, I have been playing around with photoshop lately (see avatar and sig).

One problem I have come across is I can't drag an image from the net (havent tried anything else and I'm trying to be specific) into the PS window unless I have a new task (whatever its called) open. How can I just drag it in there and have it there for me to view/measure/edit?

right click on internet picture... choose copy... then click in photoshop window and hit edit... paste

Mind you there's a bug in Firefox where transparency turns black. Best to save it to desktop then drag in.

Paste isn't highlighted.

Thought I should also add, when I drage the image to the PS window it come sup with the circle with the line through it.

You can't drag it from Firefox. Right click, copy, then in Photoshop press ctrl+n (or File>new), ok, ctrl+v (or Edit>paste).

What version of Photoshop do you have?

Cos I've been having troubles copy and pasting from the net ever since I started using CS4.

CS was perfectly fine with it.

Well done, but really impractical if you don't know exactly where each tool is, I mean I know the general area (top, left, right etc) but I need to see them to click the right one, and I can't see any of them

Are you confused about the skinned photoshop picture, 'Father?

If so, I believe it's a photoshopped screeny of (mac) photoshop.

You can't skin photoshop, AFAIK anyway.
