Alright, I know a lot of you use Sony Vegas, I'm hoping there are some Premiere Pro users here.

I have fraps footage that is 960x540. When I created a new premiere project, the resolution is 720x480. So, the original footage is stretched beyond the borders. Is there a way I can adjust it so it fits to the project resolution, or must I create a new project that is 1080p?

Is there a setting within Adobe Media Encoder when I go to export it, that will correct the resolution? Or must I have a larger project size, then scale it down during export?

Thanks!!!1

Drag your clip to the timeline, then open the Effect control tab, click your clip > (in fx tab) Open Motion tab > Scale > change to fit.

I'm sure that's not the exact, clean, way to do it, but it's worth a shot.
