BF2S Forums I have never seen a GOOD sniper.

How about you all cut the crap on who's the better virtual sniper and meet up at an actual rifle range with moving targets? Maybe I'll bring my recurve bow.

thats odd, sniper is all i play and i never have slow relaxing rounds.

maybe you would have more kills for your time if you stopped trying to live out fantasies of being a sniper in real life and realised its a game, and i go for head shots at any distance and never allow for bullet drop, going on our stats it seems my theory work alot better than yours.

maybe that explains your slow quiet rounds and why you are never seen, you just stay away from the action.

I would have to say being a sniper can be very effective, especially as a defensive weapon.  The first time I used the L98 I managed a 19-0 while single handedly bottlenecking the MEC flood comming from the Suburbs down to the Square.  I had about 12 head shots, 5 pistol kills and 2 claymore kills.  This bought my team enough time to work over two more flags before I was finally over whelmed.  It may be rare that the circumstances affort that type of ownage but when the time comes that kit can hold its own.  And this is comming from an Engineer.  I only have about 40 hours as a sniper but i can out snipe most enemys and hold my own on the battle field.  If you have someone you want eliminated, let me know, i will find a way to kill him.

Im not having a go by any means, and your KD ratio with rifle and sniper in general is impresive, however i cant really say comparing a new started and "pro" account in one specific kit is really fair vs someones standard and original account.

Plus- > NICE W/L ratio mate - really promotes snipers effectiveness
