So, I recently upgraded to Windows 7 beta. I love it all, except for Windows Media Player 11. My XP build was on 10, which I definitely prefer.

Which leads me to the question: how do a change the artist name for a song? WMP 10 had this thing called Advanced Tag Editor, which I can't find in 11. I've got a bunch of music which I ripped, and has "unknown artist"/"various artists"--I need to change that.

Thanks in advance.

Seems to still be there, just slightly different: http://jkontherun.com/2006/05/21/advanced_tag_ed/

I would think that Properties or Edit would let you change the song name/artist.

If not, use something like http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ to do it.

This must be an old beta, with old taskbar and WMP 11...
