Does anyone know if there is a difference in muzzle flash between the L85A1 and the G36E? 

I THINK that the G36E has a sizable flash, but the L85A1 does not have anything.  I have been using the G36E a lot lately, and have noticed that I seem to get spotted and shot at much more quickly since using the L85A1.  The only thing I could think of was that the muzzle flash was different.....

I think you are spotted more since G36E makes more noise compared to L85.
I am a G36E user myself and I notice whenever I have to use L85, that is when I pick it up when I run out of ammo or pick up enemy medic pack to save my own buddies, I notice that L85 makes less distinctive noise.

This is just my opinion.

Never even thought of that.....that would make sense.  I do also notice it when I am far way as well.  There is really no way for me to test this myself which is why I posted the question......unless I had someone watch from a distance as I was firing one gun...then another!!

have one of ur buds get one and then have him shoot at you and tell him after your dead.... lol jk yea jus have one of friends shoot it and look at the end simple if you have any

sorry i had to do that i really am.  You should get the pkm next or if you already have it.  i think i will get the l85A1 too
