Well, I knew it was possible cuz i already had 7 from basic, but what makes this one special. Is that the first 3 were sneak ups on snipers and the rest were actual knife offs. Now that doesn't mean I got killed a couple times (3 tiems to be exact) but hey I ended up getting 7. I just hope the servers remember that
now keep on knifing till you get your 100 then go for the 18 kills, id practice trying to get as many as you can tilll you get your hundred if you have not already done a hundred and then when you do get a 100 you will know where your at , i had a hard time with mine and that only because im new to the whole computer gaming scene, only been playing since july of 05 on computer games so that should say something in it self .
I'm a little confused.
I had 44 knife kills & went on a mission last night to get basic & vet in one hit. I ended up getting 14 kills with that knife, but only got my basic!
Although I'm peeved at not getting my vet, I had some great duels with other people who were up for knife fights. Great fun, shame about the non vet tho!

I can rarely get someone who is paying attention, sad to see how few people whip out knives and fight you anymore

made expert knife too just with knifing stupid towersnipers on sharqui!

it's not really tht hard, i got most of my kills on the towers, all others were snipers on other roofs, thank you v1.2 or more to the point, the new sniper unlock
I got my expert knife also. Although I was a bitch when I got mine, and no I didn't stat pad. It was before patch 1.2 and when you could dolphin dive. I know it's a noob and bitch thing to do, but got to do what you got to do. I got really good at jump/diving and stabbing people. So I could do it to the people even when they used guns. But now, it's really hard to do. I would suggest playing a 64 man map, with 16-24 total people. That way more tickets so you have about 30-60 minutes to get 18 kills.
your BFHQ needs to say 50 knife kills minimum BEFORE you start a round going for veteran!wilber69 wrote:

Yup, I got my Vet Knife of Sharqi stabbing the snipers. Anyway I got my basic explosives yesterday in Karkand! I'd just chuck some C4 on a choke point and when they ran by.....BOOM! I felt so n00b after getting it though.

I got to get 100 kills with the knife. I boosted my count last night, took out an entire squad in Karkland, they were doing some nice team work, ducking and using cover to take out our base, and they even had a jeep for covering fire. Well, i jumped onto the back of the jeep(the USA one's), knifed the gunner, knifed the medic, knifed the AT, and knifed the other 2 Assault. That was one hell of a move, but then i got TK by a grenade.
I returned to that same spot to knife 2 Medics only a few secs later.

im down, i got vet for both pistol and knife on sharqi the other night,
i mainly had my pistol out the entire time, so i could get my 7 kills, got them eventualy, with a lot of deaths,
same with the knife, but that was a little more sneaky

because my best round with knives was 46 kills
in a 16 person game at karkand

i for one thought that gettin the expert knife badge was impossible without sats-padding but today i got it im soooooooo happy lol i was amazed at how many of my suicide rushes againt people with pkms actually worked.

Got my vet knife today too. It's so much fun running after the idiot medic who doesn't realize you're behind him as he tries to revive a pile of dead guys. Easy targets, hehe. I know it won't be that easy getting expert though...sigh...

Knifing at Karkand is easy, you hold out the knife and charge the US on the initial Hotel rush. Because you're moving so fast at CQ, the machine gunners and riflers should be able to hit you. All the Anti-tank people would've held back at artillery and the Engineers will be in armour.

as i said in my last post, i didnt get vet, even with 50 global kills and 10 KILLS IAR with the knife. it was a sad day. im gona try tomrrow to see if it registers
