Vista or XP

I know i would get a proper answer in tech but i want a quick answer, cause im prolly reformatting in a little while (black SUV with a gov-looking logo stopped outside my house momentarily...)

Anyways, im DONE with modified versions of windows. From now on im getting only untouched versions of windows. too many people dont know what their doing, or dont list the mods theyve done, and shit turns out incompatible or unsupported that should normally work just fine.

So. Should i go with Vista - which has much better and easier driver support. Or should i go with XP which takes less resources but lacks the visual beauty.

I wanted vista because its got better support but so far i cant find a god damn untouched version thats current.
