For those of you who don't know, Desert Conflict is a mod being made by the beta testers and supporters of the Desert Combat mod for BF1942. So far, they have released Desert Conflict v0.22, which is essentially a CTF mod for BF2, however some of the maps have had their vehicle spawns altered. It's a very fun mod, and it really is vital for people to work together as a team. Yes you won't be gaining stats points while playing the mod, but it still looks like it will be a blast.
