I've had this happen sooooo many times. It's not just low ranking players either. Some clown has a sliver of health left, I'm trying to heal him, and the idiot is running away from me. Are people that stupid? Then they bitch when they get killed. Unbelievable.

Yup, tons of guys out there that just don't "get" the game.
It happens the other way around as well. I was playing in a wake Island server and I was sniping to the island. The two teammates were in tanks beside me and were BOTH medics. Then comes the artillery, I get wounded and the strike passes. I have about 6 seconds left to go until respawn and they stay in their fucking tanks, I h8 guys like that.

Happened alot to me!! I 've found its usually snipers that im chasing all over the map.
I don't think any medic would get out of a tank just to revivie someone (unless it was a clan match or something) because someone mite steal their tank :p[E.F.L]Airwolf wrote:

I hate on karkand...I die and right next to me the medic runs right past.
maybe the reason they dont want you running towards them with medic pack at hand is because it will give the enemy the CORRECT impression that they are low in health and therefore an easy kill. try running towards them with your gun and then switch to medic pack at the last possible moment.
Actually, the real question is: Why do dumbass medics always run away from people that need revived....or better yet, why does it take me 15 "I need a medic" clicks before one standing in front of me notices?
medics are not just in the game to save lives only, they are also fighting soldiers aswell, but 9 times out of 10 if im a medic and i here, I NEED A MEDIC i would chuck you a med bag.
I hear you man. I'm always shouting for medic or support guys but less than half the time i get a response. Same thing with asking for rides to ge to the other side of the map
i play many kits, have been doin alot of sniping with the new rifle. my fiends like me to be a squad leader, and if im doin a small sniping squad 4/5 ppl. i like it to be 2 snipers, medic, and/or support. While the sniper who is squad leader, should stay father from the CP we are goin for, the other 3 move in to cap it,after leaving healt an ammo to the spotter/sniper. This is also the easist way to heal a sniper. Cuz you cant bring attention to them.
I Found Out The Best Way To Heal People Is To Trow The Pack In Frount Of Them While They Are Running. And They Run Over It. When A Group Of Soldiers Are Together Just Throw A Lot On The Ground Sometimes They Will Come Back Later If Still Alive And Run On It To Get Healed. As For Reviving People Its Hard, Don't Know If Its A Bug Or What But I Zap Them 3 Or 4 Times And They Don't Come Back. Sometimes They Don't Want To Stop And Revive Because They Don't Want To Get Killed.

have been trying to get that bloody expert medic heal badge but its so hard to get 25 heals when everybody on low health justs runs away from you.
come to think of it, they should put a big red skull & crossbones on the medic packs!

Sometimes if I'm trying to do something I don't really pay attention to people yelling at me for a med pack.
But I'm the kind of medic that will run through enemy fire, heal you, and gtfo.

That gets annoying really quick. I pretty much stick with medic all the time and it's really annoying when people just kinda pretend like the packs i'm hitting them in the face with don't exist and keep on running.
You also have the medics who couldn't care less about healing/reviving people. Why don't they just go assault?
Then you have the medics that revive you when you're directly in someone's line of fire so you can be killed again.

What i usually do is drop the medics to them .. if they want it they can come and get it. If I'm close enough I'd justr drop it at their feet. If they are half way across the screen, they can forget about it.
I'd try a little bit harder for the revive though.
But what really shits me is when you go and revive someone .. the damn thing doesnt work and one of your tema mates gets the revive point ...

Yes, people can be that stupid. And yes, it's annoying as hell. But sometimes in the heat of battle you just don't notice when you're hit... that might mark those ppl as noobs, depends on the situation.birdman69 wrote:

I think we should remember though, with the glitches on hit sounds you don't get the "Ugh!" you should hear when hit - for me this is most of the time when playing online.
I was amazed by that too when I first took up the medic kit a long time ago, and lately -when medic- I type "heal first, fight later, dont run AWAY from your medic" ! Not that it helps much ,lol.birdman69 wrote:

If only players would (learn to ) use the mini-map better; see that WHITE DOT<RED CROSS in it ??
THERE is your medic, right behind you....
Or - for medics - see that big RED DOT on the minimap; there is someone to heal/revive !

Did you ever think that most people run away from medics because they are trying to earn lots of purple hearts? Kind of hard to rack them up when those pesky medics try and heal you.
My gripes about medics:
1) They don't kill the guy that killed you, and THEN revive you. Instead they leap on you like a dog in heat while the enemy chuckles to himself that he is about to get 2 more points off your butt. I take care to kill first, revive later. (Unless I am really pissed at EA for the gameplay changes in 1.2 + then I just kill and let the teammate rot in hell. I figure the more people annoyed at EA the better.)
2) n00b Patch 1.21 screwed up the whole medic game with the elimination of jump and toss and also adding the prone lag crud so duh little bunnies couldn't hop anymore. Now you:
a) can't toss a medic pack in front of someone running away from you worth a darn (to ruin his purple heart chances),
b) can get the paddle lag for 5-10 seconds even though they are charged,
c) can puke out multiple medi packs with 1 click of the mouse, thereby depleting your supply when you need it thanks to some other wierd bug 1.21 added. Since recharging is now tied to the number of bags you have out, you can be screwed if you have 5 bags out so you can't recharge worth a crud.
EA really knows how to screw up the game by fixing non-problems due to whining little pukes and thereby introducing unintended consequences to other kits in the game. Eliminating jump and toss, introducing prone lag, adding paddle bug and puking medic pack bug, made the medic less of a team player, and more of a selfish player, IMHO.

Many ppl refer to EA being the ppl who stuff the game up .. where in fact its DICE, they are the developers.

Actually EA games bought Dice a couple weeks ago so now we can blame EA for screwing up a great game instead of tweaking it. ;-)
Even better is chasing a half-dead tank with your wrench as they roll away into battle without letting you repair them... :p
I play as a medic 90% of the time and it a constant irritation, people shout for you then run of!.
I will always throw medi packs and never leave a man down unless I'd get killed trying to help them out.
I will risk it if say theres a tank taking a flag and anti tank guy gets taken out, then I'll try to get to them.

It irritates me so much that I won't even bother to run after them. But I will make a note of their name, to make sure that I won't revive them when they die. Less points for me, but eh. It's funny watching them bitch.

they do not look at the mini map in the upper right corner. they even dont know that it exists. or you tried to heal stevie wonder.

Well I'm guilty of not healing or reviving when I'm a medic and close... sometimes. Often I completely forget what kit I'm playing and wonder why no one is helping the poor guy, only to realise just as the body disappears that I have the shock paddles in my inventory - duh.
