Flying Tank??

So the other day I was USMC on Karkand. I saw an enemy Vodnik on UAV heading down the east road toward the hotel. I'm pretty sure he'll take the corner and turn all the way around to take the flag. So I drive down the road and as I turn the turret, looking straight at the car as it comes around the corner, the tank JUMPS 15 feet in the air! I thought, oh thats lag or something, destroying him. Then I hear my clanmate talking about it on vent (he's on enemy side and that guy was saying something about it in team chat) saying I flew 15 feet, asking how did I do it. I don't know!?!

Anyone else have this kind of thing happen?

yea its just lag contributing to a glitch. basically the same thing as when an empty tank sits there the tracks seem to be slightly in the ground, and when someone gets in it rights itself

Oh, that's nothing. I had one of my buddies land a TV Missile near my tank (yes, friendly fire was on), and when I finally had an idea of what was going on, I managed to snap this screenshot on the way down... I landed upright and blew up a second after hitting ground.

that picture is priceless. it's battlefield 2 in one picture. complete with a random kick vote as well.
I've seen a flying tank before. Just kinda hopped into the air and landed like nothing happened.
If I made bf2, I'd make sure to NOT fix what causes that just because it's so funny. Doesn't happen often enough to be annoying, but when it does....LAF.

Yeap that Happend to me only 1 time I tought it was Game lag or sumthing it was on Kankard. I belive EA has fixed this Bug with new Patch Peace Boris

There's even a teamkill. All it needs is "Enemy boat spotted" and someone calling someone else a noob.

Nope, not fixed, i saw it the other day on Karkland. Tank damn near jumped over the barriers when it did it. Gotta admit it was pretty funny to watch.
