I just recently received a 2004 hp pavilion 15 inch lcd monitor from my neighbor.

Right now I am using both monitors on the "Dual View" setting from nvidia's control panel.

The 19 inch lcd acer monitor that is connected along with it is working perfectly fine but my hp pavilion f1503 monitor has this green "shading"(hue?) to it. Really looks ugly.

And no, I'm pretty sure it is not broken because it was working perfectly fine yesterday on my nieghbor's PC. Btw, I have a 8600gt video card if that is of any relevance.

Was not really the problem I have. The colors come out unclear(e.g. Pink comes out as dark blue with a splash of green). I tried everything through nVidia's video settings and still it does not work.

Check the pins on the VGA/DVI connection. Friend had a similar problem, turned out to be a bent pin.

Actually it was because my brother had not restarted the computer(I assume).

All I did was replug all the wires back in-out then restart the computer and then it came out clear.

The new Nvidia drivers will guide you through dual-monitor settings, just get newer drivers.

Yeah the RGB being fucked up would be an improper connection
