In recent years police forces around the country have twigged that premium models like BMWs and Audis can actually save them money in the long run - because of improved re-sale values - and the same goes for colours.

So out goes unloved white and in comes natty silver, in the case of London's Met for example. So they now look better, and have some choice machines including the likes of the BMW X5, Subaru Impreza, and Mitsubishi EVO Xs. We thought we'd go one step further and think about some more cool cars the old bill should drive - and why.
