Attained Sergeant, but unable to unlock L96A1

Hello, perhaps someone can help me...

I have recently been upgraded to sergeant, and I have unlocks available to me once I log into BF2, but I am unable to select the L96A1 from the list. Is it because I am not a high enough rank?

I don't have SF or Euro Force installed... Just plain BF2.

That's your problem. You need to play a round in SF to obtain the second tier unlock.

The L96A1 is an SF unlock. Without SF, you will never have it available. (unless someone plays your account on an SF server for you)

Although once you unlock it you can't use it in SF??!!!???? (Unless you play SAS)

You can only use them in BF2.. not SF.

Do u have the M95 unlocked? i don't think u can get second unlock without the first.

Well... perhaps im just retarded, but i have the SF and EF packs installed. Played them all (BF2, SF and EF) and still didnt get any unlocks for the 2 new weapons. I have the rank of 1st Sergeant and after that there should not be any more unlocks...right? Any1 here have any clues to whats up? The most logical view should be that you get some new unlocks when one gets a new rank?

I was retarded. New or old info , but it seems that there is a unlock when you get to 50.000 global points. This is for now the last weapons unlock.
