Ive got some photos such as this

https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3532/3226139798_9b350aafd6_b.jpg

I took this with a Canon XTi 10.2 MP with the standard lens. As you can see its clear as day and the original photo on my computer is still clear on the whole screen (21.5W).

so I want to print it at costco or kinkos in a 10x12 print but when I insert my card it says if it prints it will print a low resolution print unless I downsize to 5x7.... wtf?

This is for both JPEGS and TIFFS.... any solutions? Is it lying when it says its low res? im stumped.

Try this site. I've used it to print several high res photos.

Maybe their machines cant handle the high resolution and its basically saying, "We cant print the pictures high resolution, if you still want to print it, it will be printed to 5x7."

this is exactly what it says
it shows up with an X or ! next to the picture and when you select it it says
"picture will be printed in a low resolution format"

same, used it for making photo albums, and they've all turned out awesome. All the photos turned out great.

thanks for the advice on that guys except that on the 11x14 and 8x10 it cuts my picture down and it only full shows on 5x7 and 20x30 (too big and too small) any idea on how to make it not cut down on the 11x14?
