Firstly I'll state that on the issue of Jesus we are in agreement, I believe Jesus probably existed and was most likely a great guy (regardless of who his father may or may not have been) and Christians who live their lives according to the example set by J.C. are of no threat to anyone.

However, you seem to complain an awful lot about Islam because of the violent history of the faith and the violent interpretation of the texts and because of how these texts are being used as validation for terrible attacks on the rest of the world... with that in mind why do you not complain so vocally about Judaism? Jews don't follow the teachings of Christ, they pay more heed to the old testament and all of the blood and gore that was included in that lovely little book. Furthermore, they have used this ancient text to justify theft of land and subjugation of the Palestinians. You could take the argument further and assert that it is the US's support of the Israeli state that has turned this Islamic aggression towards the West. The Israelis are happy because they are currently being facilitated by the West but if you look at history you'll see they were just as happy to kill Westerners in order to get what they wanted in the name of their faith.

I justify it because the Jews are not a threat to anyone except those that want and plot their destruction. I do not view the Jews as people set out to convert the world to Islam.( Regardless if you think they could succeed or not).

Islam also does not have a violent history, it has a violent present.

I view Israel as defenders. You hate them because they have beat back all agression against them., and turned the tables where they are making sure they keep all rabid dogs chained chained down. I do not blame them, for as soon as they relax their posture, they will be taken advanage of. It is naive to think otherwise. The jews can live with Islam. Islam will not live with the Jews, ( other than keeping the Jews in servitude, or a second class citizens)

Also what is your definition of "living peacefully"? Because from what I have read the Jews only live in "peace" in Islamic countries if they recognize that Islam is the law of the land and that the Jews are second class citizens bowing to it.

Fair enough, hardcore Jews seem more concerned with keeping themselves separate from Gentiles than in converting them but you must admit they have a very separatist view of the world, in which they are the "chosen" people. I would argue however that the Israelis are no longer a threat to the West now only because their original campaign of violence against Western occupiers in the region was met with appeasement and the granting of Zionist wishes, they have no need to continue fighting the West now... the same can't really be said for Islam.

As I have pointed out already, the Zionist movement were happy to bomb market places and hotels in the name of their cause before the West caved in to the pressure and appeased them, now the Israelis market themselves as "innocent victims" of the terrorism of their neighbours... the same terrorism they themselves were once so fond of.
