How fucking awesome would it be if you could have a built in like glowing radar like in L4D, exept its for real life and its for finding shit around your house.

like i was wearing my hat the other day, now i cant fucking find it. i know its somewhere in this house, and im sure ill find it LAST SECOND before i have to walk out the door, but if i could just see a glowing marker through-the-wall that would lead me to where it is, i would be a happy person.

Do what I do... Dont put things away, put them somewhere and then when you want to look for it be like, "now where would I put that bag? probably on the ground somewhere, and I would probably come to my computer room..." and sure enough its on the floor in my computer room

Putting things away confuses me because I dont naturally put things away if that makes sense...

If you're doing something that requires a lot of focus, it's not hard to forget that rule.

It's not once that I've managed to lose my hot soldering iron when having to use a screwdriver or something for a second. Cursed thing has an identical cable as most of my computers and stuff.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
