Just a quick question about the Ground Defense Ribbon. Do the guns on top of vehicles count or is it strictly the machine guns mounted to the ground? I was trying to get it, but I was using the guns on top of the car. Dunno if it was because I wasn't on it for enough time or if I'm just doing the wrong thing.
hm, good question! I think it´s only the TOWs and LMGS on ground.

Nope, gotta use the Stationary machine guns or the TOW/HJ
HUMVEE and Vodnick guns don't count, since its considered a transport.

this is the correct answer. Just wait for some pesky USMC squads to attack the Airfield on Wake Island and mow them down with the MGs. Just be careful of snipers. I love sniping people using AA, TOW/HJ-8, and the mounted MGs because it's soooooo easy.Elamdri wrote:

But yeah if there aren't any snipers afoot, mount the MG and blaze away my friend.
Karkand is IMHO the best map for it since it has great MG positions and TOW positions.
Remember, it takes 1 direct hit with the TOW to an APC to kill it, and if you Hit a Tank in the back or in the front tread with the TOW its done.

Best map IMO is 64 player cleansweep on the MEC side. pretty easy to get up to 30 kills in a round using the righthand TOW at the end of the MEC island to kill the APC's, boats and even the odd blackhawk as they come across the sea. Just be prepared to get bombed to hell and back a few times.
