i was playing today on karkand in the www.playgeek.net server and i saw two ppl on the TOP of the karkand hotel roof!!!

SUSPECT #1:

look at how much time he has on karkand - almost double the amount of the second most-played map, obviously because he can cheat in this map

They're not being 'cleverer', they're exploiting the fact that EA doesn't allow revives stat padding but is A-O-K with people jumping onto roofs they shouldn't get onto you. You know why the huge bulding next to train accident in Karkand is able to get into? Because DICE didn't think people would get on it so they didn't make a very good collision mesh.

FF off is just a tolerated form of stats padding. I can go all day in an FF off server dropping bombs on enemy CP's with friendlies there and not get any points docked for it. I can launch myself onto a roof and glitch into the buliding with FF off. Like I said, it's a tolerated, more subtle form of stats padding.

It's really nothing special. One arty drop and they are all dead. Everytime I got up there I got artied.

It's not any advantage than others can't do either.

If EA would give us grappling hooks in Vanilla BF2 then we could climb on any building like that. Would be nice to make SF toys a server side option.

LMAO did u guys even notice the roof that person was on????

while it is TRUE that the playgeek.net servers have ff OFF. that roof doesnt NOT require C-4! hell you can HONESTLY make it up there with a bit of practice and minimal lag.

how do i know you ask? i've been up there hundreds of times on a ff on server. didnt know u could do it without a supply box till a month or so ago. but its kinda tricky(thats where the minimal lag would help).

if you have any doubts about honestly getting up there you can pm me or add me on msn and i can show you.
