Did well really, didn't start to panic like hell at least. But not a position you wanna be in.

You have to practice emergency landings a bagillion times to get your pilot's license. You even have to do a simulated one on the practical exam. You never actually land, mind you, but you put the engine to idle an glide until you're about 500 feet up. Good job on that guy's part.
