A minesweeper in a column of warships heading to war is still a warship. It's been deployed to help in war.

Wiki isn't much of a source on anything. Especially considering Mek didn't even source this minesweeper but had to find another one classed differently due to the fact is was built for the purpose of offensive capabilities.

The minesweeper you claim is a warship doesn't have an engine, guns and doesn't carry mines. What makes it any different from the ambulance analogy of not being a tank?

You are buying the shell of a minesweeper. You are not buying a minesweeper. And you certainly aren't buying a warship. Your thread title is misleading in the extreme.
