Sup, i got a mate who wants to uninstall and re-install bf2 (patched it to 1.5) but his CD is at uni, is there anywhere it's stored on your PC so he can take a note of it and re install?

Gracias

@ Metal*, you wimpy cunt, if you have a problem, PM me you fuckwit instead of polluting my karma.

Edit: it wasn't metal, someone is posing as you in my karma.

Sort of.

Run>Regedit> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>Electronic Arts>EA Games> BF2>ergc

That value minus the x9392 is your CDkey, what's confused me is that it used to be encrypted but for some reason it isn't for me.

Anyway, if it is encrypted, simply copy that CD key, find a scammed key and use that one to install bf2, then simply change the value before reinstalling with the one after.

Well I found this:

..But I tried it myself and it just gives me a huge string of characters.

Nice one mate.....if the latter is the case, any ideas where to find a scammed one for the duration (pm if necessary) cheers for the help though.

If your mate has registered BF2 (and SF) with EA, he can find the CD key(s) in plain text in one of the tabs of his EA account.
