Nah, it seems more like fear than ashamed. Look at the way they have all these laws, and how they're so scared to say anything about Israel or pretty much anything. And how they want to look tough by finding and punishing anything that says anything about the holocaust even if it's in some other country. It all reeks of an instalment of fear put on them after they got owned in WW2. A country ripped to shreds and only just re-united in 1989 or something. Imo looking at their situation from here, it's more a sense of being scared of what the outside world thinks about themFatherTed wrote:

The opposite could probably be said about Japan, they're not afraid to talk about their past, and the country doesn't really seem like a country completely broken in terms of talking about the past and they don't have that "tough, but tough because we're scared" sort of stance that Germany has. Well, I'm all looking at it from an outsider perspective

Frankly I find the notion of Muslims getting offended/angry about this guy purely because of his IDF hoody about as stupid and fucking dumb as this guy buying an IDF hoody probably for the fact that he is Jewish and that's his sole connection to the IDF
You're all equally gay (Muslims and Jews)

i'm not even jewish. and why is it fucking dumb to buy an IDF hoodie? they're cheap (20 €) and of good quality.Mekstizzle wrote:
