Well according to GameFAQs and GameSpot, Armored Fury was supposed to come out today oO.

I saw a forum on BF2RS for 1.22 Testing a few days ago but it disappeared.

Found this on EA forum. Don't know if it's true.

- Adjusted deviance for MG36 and PKM to bring them in line with other support weapons
- P90 increased firerate to 900


Seems the Support kit is about to get nerfed.... hmmmm.

dont use the MG36/PKM anyway, M249 SAW For Life

I'm getting out the earplugs. Rumor has it they're going to nerf the PKM and bring it back to normal. Here comes the whining!

Wait..... no armored fury?  When the hell is AF coming out, then?  WTF?!  !! !!!?!  I thought they said it was coming out today..?

i hope that they put a new map with the patch but i doubt it. i think we deserve new maps vor bf2 vanilla.

There is a new Community update on the official Battlefield website detailing some of the new features in BF2142 and a confirmation that they are working on patch 1.3.

    " Today we have some really big news to share with you. The more sniper-eyed of you out there will probably already know, but we're currently hard at work developing "Battlefield 2142", which is scheduled for release this Autumn. As you'll have guessed, this is a departure for the BF series as we're going into the future - something that a lot of you wanted to see happen in the BF universe.

    We're creating a ton of cool features that you won't have seen in any BF before, including cloaking devices, mines that follow you, awesome new rifles, guns and grenades, and of course, MECHS! We're developing this here in DICE Stockholm while the DICE Canada studio will be hard at work on a 1.3 update for Battlefield 2, as well as the Armoured Fury Booster Pack. "

Patch 1.22 is about to be released and will available on EA Downloader within the next few hours. The release of this patch is in line with our ongoing effort to make the game as enjoyable as possible, releasing quicker fixes addressing some of the things that you want to see changed.

We're still hard at work on version 1.3, which will see the addition of some additional, sought-after changes. When we have more information to share with you on 1.3 we will, in the meantime, please find below the list of fixes in 1.22:

- Improved Server Stability
- Adjusted handling of the Tiger attack chopper
- Increased delay for aiming reticule when going from movement to prone on all support weapons
- Adjusted deviation on MG36 and PKM to be in line with other support weapons
- Increased rpm from 600 to 900 on the P90
- Fixed Lock on error on certain Oil towers
- Fixed a Great Wall Exploit
- Fixed exploits on Dragon Valley and Karkand

We would also like to take the opportunity to thank the Combat Studios beta testers who did a great job in testing Battlefield 2: Euro Force and this patch, thank you guys!
