Competitive gaming fails in my opinion. I used to be a competitive bf2 player, and before that a competitive CS player but i gave up on that shit. it was like having a 2nd job except i wasn't getting paid... i was getting abused by 12 yr old for apparently"hacking"
Just play for fun

Playing pretty much anything competitively will make you rage and hate the game. A game is for enjoyment, not desk-breaking angerur a fag just like the specialist..GTFO BF2s

comp makes some people rage...as long as you choose not to be one of those people, its fuckin hilarious to watch them rage and especially hear them in ventWallpaper wrote:

I personally can't play two games "seriously" without completely sucking ass at the other. This doesn't apply to different genres, though, so I could play like Simcity for days on end and then hop into a CSS match and play just fine.
BF2 has never struck me as a competitive game. Jets, tanks, helicopters? HORRIBLE hit detection. No control over net settings. No real match mode. The game feels too loose and pubby to me. Nothing is consistent, which adds a lot of randomness to the game. Yeah you can overcome the crap hit reg to a point, but you still get puffs of smoke and no damage very often, or you just completely shoot through a target. CSS certainly isn't a shining example for skill > randomness, but skill is handicapped way less in CS than BF2, and there are less random elements. CSS is built around competition and removing as many non-skill factors as possible. BF2 is very obviously a pub game. BF2 is a fuckload of fun to pub, but CSS is much more fun to play competitively.
