SourceSpence will use his invention initially to create a documentary film about surveillance. With the spread of CCTV, not to mention the constant snapping of mobile phone cameras, and even computer programs that allow employers to monitor our every touch of the keypad, he realises his invention could seem like yet another erosion of our privacy.
