No i have a mate who does physics who's a complete and utter tool so i wouldn't put it past them...The Sheriff wrote:

Mr Fuller is a bit of a reprobate
so it actually wasn't that bad. 87.3F as i type, which is 30.72C. track was actually really nice as i drenched my hair, took off my shirt, soaked it, and draped it across my back. felt like a soggy superman but it was godly.
"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
Nah this guy i know, went into physics and put his hand in a water bath touching the heating element. He then went home and burnt the same hand again on the oven making chips...Peter wrote:

Some people should never be trusted with electricity. :p
Try going to Cyprus in a heatwave - 45C 113F.
That shit was hawt.
That shit was hawt.

Celsius >> Fahrenheit

Fahrenheit is so 19th century, Yanks are the most backwards when it comes to units in general. We're the second most backwards (at least we use some metric/modern units). Tribal regions of the Amazon rainforest come in 3rd

85-90 degrees here for the past 4 days.
Shut up about celsius, it's gay.
nah, celcius is proper and so is the metric system. the american public is retarded and can't make the switch.elite.mafia wrote:

Lol, yeah I always laugh when my Californian e-buddies complain to me that they have to wear a winter jacket when it's like 50*F outside.haffeysucks wrote:
if its humid and full sun it is for us. you silly texans are the same people that think 30F is cold.WienerBreath wrote:

NO it isn't it's the system you are used to and Fahrenheit is the system I'm used to.haffeysucks wrote:

You are an ignorant foreigner to me, I am an ignorant American to you.

no, i'm just not a pompous assfuck who thinks everything american is superior. some things america does better. units are definitely not one of them.elite.mafia wrote:

I quite liked the few days of 90F highs. However I am glad it is cooling down. It sucks getting on the train in shorts and flip flops. I feel so... exposed to dirt.
Kelvin only makes sense when dealing with things beyond conceivable temps.Flaming_Maniac wrote:

For real. It measures human relation to temp well rather than water's relation to temp.Flaming_Maniac wrote:

In Celsius 0 is freezing for water, but still not unbearably cold for humans.
In Fahrenheit 0 is basically unbearably cold for humans.
In Celsius 32 is hot as balls.
In Fahrenheit 32 is cold.
In Celsius 100 is boiling for water and deathly for humans.
In Fahrenheit 100 is hot as fuck, but not death.
Fahrenheit is temperature for people that are alive.
if you grew up using the celcius system you'd think the fahrenheit system is stupid too.Superior Mind wrote:

0 its freezing, 10 it's not
20 it's warm, and 30 it's hot

In Fahrenheit 0 marks the point of normal human threshold.
In Kelvin 0 marks the point at which atoms stop moving.
In Celsius 0 marks the freezing point of water.
Which one affects human life more?
