So I just installled Google Crome, and I'm looking for a one-stop-shop for news.

My old site used to be yahoo.com, but there seems to be an increasing trend to make news out of nothing.

my question to you all is this: what site do you like using for your news? world news? any other news?

igoogle is ok, but you still get run-of-the-mill nonsense reported by virtually all major news companies. I don't even get my news from one place. As a matter of fact, I don't really read daily news, because it lacks in substance. It's like ESPN - you have a channel dedicated to sports/infotainmnet 24 hours a day, so no wonder they spend an entire day running through the NFL schedule the day it is released - same thing with dedicated news channels and 24/7 tickers - too much time in the day, so they need to squeeze any possible story into "news". Hence swine flu, Natalee Holloway, JonBenet Ramsey, Anthrax, pimple on Paris Hilton, Miley Cyrus sighting, Rihanna beating, etc. all make it to the "news".
