LOL Since when is the HHR an SUV? And besides, judging by his current car and the HHR, he must want something big with a lot of cargo room. If you want something big like that, you'd be stupid not to buy something like a GM or Ford. I don't understand where this bias comes from when it comes to American cars. Besides, pretty much all GM SUVs and even the HHR has better gas mileage than all of their import counter parts...VicktorVauhn wrote:
You needed a fuel efficient vehichle so you bought a chevy SUV?
Sure why not...
1989 Olds 98 220k miles ... high 20s mpg
this, but white

1994 GMC Jimmy 4x4 120k miles ... 20mpg if I'm lucky
this, but black

edit: 80 mile daily commute, gotta love picking up that Olds for 2k ... 44k miles later she's still going

I'll never understand this. Everybody I know who has an old American car like that loves it because they know it'll last forever. I have a 95 Caprice with just a measley 140k miles on it and the only car I've ever driven so far that drives nicer than it is my brother's 2005 GMC Sierra... Like I said in an earlier post, there's some weird bias against American cars. I personally don't see it, I've had fewer problems and the repairs are cheaper on my car than the problems people have with imports that I hear about at work.Stingray24 wrote:

I wouldn't advise anyone to ride a motorbike, fun and convenient though they may be.

Protip - Buy a black helmet, black leathers, a black bike with two tiny spotlights which look like car headlights three miles away and someone WILL pull out in front of you.FEOS wrote:
