Faction Ships are generally rather useless in combat. The 60 mill you spend on your Vexor Navy could be spent on a brand new brutix/myrm and you could pack much more hp and much more dps.

I myself am far from being "leet" in this game. But calling someone an idiot because they think that the bonus that they get out of a faction ship is worth the extra isk seems kinda harsh.
If faction ships were useless for pvp, i would not have seen so many in action during the alliance tournament.

In average situations it's better to just bring a normally fitted ship that's known to work (that still costs less). Alliance tourney's and normal eve pvp are way off.
I'm sorry, but if anyone risks such large amounts of ISK on something that isn't really justified they are idiotic.
Also, Bernie did suggest that the Rax and Vexor were both useless, which they definitely aren't, and told others not to use them in facour of overprice ships. Especcialy in the hands of a player looking for new PVP. He's most likely going to die. Why have a 70 mill loss?

Jestar, you would love the guy in our alliance that fields nightmares during CTA's. He's always primaried, and despite having his own logistics pack, usually dies.
Btw, if you guys want to get in on the raep, come on down to Etherium Reach(ED space) this weekend. We've got a fuckton of reds from numerous alliances in here killing our POSs and there's supposed to be more with eve radio telling everyone to join the party down here this weekend. With a pack of recons you'll catch stragglers left and right i imagine.

lol three 2 month old guys showed up in our system and shot at miners. we killed all three one was in BC and 2 cruisers. we had 3 cruisers and a frig. they were all using small pulse lasers and armor tank or shield tank. so we scrammed them and told my CEO to make em shit a brick and we warped in a thalos carrier. carried did'nt use its fighters then we killed them lol good fun./ the one I was about to pod got away

It'll be my 12th trial or something now, but I am feeling fiendishly peckish for another MMO and World of Warcraft has actually been a no-go deadzone game for over a year now. Thus, I look towards EVE, the smart and intelligent gamer's MMO geeky sci-fi maths MMO.

Missioning, while deathly boring, should be seen more as a necessary evil. To make it fun - cram as much gank as possible onto your mission ships and try to survive every mission.
