Firstly let's have a look at the summit of the Spanish league table... (I have no idea how to do tables in BB code or anything like that so I'll do it the cheap way)
Barcelona - 33 games - 82 points
Real Madrid - 33 games - 78 points
Seville - 33 games - 57 points

---
Anyway, if Real win the match then they'll close the gap to 1 point, if Barca win the gap will increase to 7 points and most likely the league will be theres for the taking. Thoughts? I reckon it'll be a Real Madrid win, with them eventually nipping the title at the end of the season.
Superstition is not on Barcelona's side...
It's been like this since the year 2000, the following is a list of champions of the English league and the Spanish league:
2000/2001 Manchester United Real Madrid
2001/2002 Arsenal Valencia
2002/2003 Manchester United Real Madrid
2003/2004 Arsenal Valencia
2004/2005 Chelsea Barcelona
2005/2006 Chelsea Barcelona
2006/2007 Manchester United Real Madrid
2007/2008 Manchester United Real Madrid
2008/2009 ??? ???
No need to explain that one. And with Man Utd looking ever closer to winning the English league, superstition says Real should go onto winning their league. Of course....it's all just coincidence
One man, doesn't believe in superstition:

I still say Real Madrid 2-1.
