Apparently Brett Favre is considering coming out of retirement... again

Maybe Brett Favre will be making his 270th consecutive NFL regular-season start after all.

ESPN is reporting that Favre, who has been granted his release by the New York Jets, will meet with Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress later this week at an "undisclosed location." From there, they will presumably decide if Favre will scuttle his second retirement and play a 19th NFL season with the Vikings.

Seriously, can't the guy just make up his mind?  All he's doing is holding on to a dead dream and making people lose all the respect they had for him when he played in Green Bay, christ.

If it does, I may just kill the fucker myself, just so I don't have to deal with any of that shit.

A repeat from last year?  This reminded me of one of my very first posts here on bf2s.

If he comes back I hope he destroys the Packers.  Filthy whores, they are.

As a Jets fan, all I can say is good riddance. Welcome Mark Sanchez.

Let him come out of retirement. He's turning himself into an absolute joke.

The retire or not to retire parade is wearing on me, too.  BUT ... can't knock his accomplishments.  His age is hindering his ability to scramble like he used to, hence his downfall with a weak offensive line.  Give him enough protection in the pocket and he'll still gunsling like none other.

When you've thrown more passes and TDs than anyone else you'll also have more interceptions ...

if you're THAT old, then of course you'll be the one setting pass and TD records.  but i like QBs who can pass cleanly.

I find it extremely awesome that he, in his undisclosed location, is fucking with everyone. So he can't quit the game that has dominated his entire life, big whoop. It's up to the people that keep signing him to stop. I hope he does it five more times over... life's too short.

Ride that shit till the wheels fall off Mr. Favre. I aint mad atcha.

Let him get sacked, that should convince him to stay retired.

He'll probably make a deal with opposing players.  Favre will purposely get down on the ground and the defense would just touch him and get the sack.  Just like what he did with Strahan.

Screw all the haters.  If someone offered anyone of you enough $100 bills to fill your pool with for a 20 game commitment you would do it as well.  Now he may have a chance to play in the same division as GB, a team that ran him out of town after he gave a careers worth of hall of fame service.  I hope he smashes 'em.

He is still better than over half of the current starting QBs.  Let him play.

That would ruin the offensive line's stats. Anyway heard it on the radio this morning that  he will stay retired, but MN newpaper states the vikings found another quaterback. source
The paper did not say he will stay retired...conflicting reports. I wonder if Favre wants to go to Detroit

conflicting report

Who?
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
