Agreed on The Killers. Some great songs, one of my favorite alternative groups.haffeysucks wrote:
Also, just check out The Killers. They were one of those "no way" bands for me, but then Day & Age came out, and I figured what the heck. Day & Age is a good place to start, with pretty much all very solid tracks. Hot Fuss is very good as well. Some iffy tracks here and there but mostly solid. Sam's Town seemed a little experimental to me but it has several exemplary tracks as well.

Radiohead
Merzbow
Melvins ("Colossus of Destiny" Only)
Mortician
Agoraphobic Nosebleed
Anal Cunt
Extreme Noise Terror
They are just like Bon Jovi. No need to listen beforehand. Just load it up and go.

I liked ESP&G, but I didn't like the whole album like I did with There Is Nothing Left To Lose and One By One.haffeysucks wrote:
Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace is my favorite album by them. I think they gained a more refined sound with age, as most artists do.Poseidon wrote:
You ever listen to the Foo Fighters? Go downl---er, buy their whole discography. Excellent shit. There Is Nothing Left to Lose and One By One are incredible.

idk, i just haven't truly had the patience to listen to the entire albums full through yet. i like to force myself to listen to entire albums from start to finish (no shuffle) by listening to them in the shower.Poseidon wrote:

Thievery Corp
Bonobo
Quantic
Three solid downtempo acts if you are in to that kind of stuff.
Anal Cunt was around for years before GG Allin wrote that song.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
