To you Spec-op guys - G36C or SCAR-L ?

my apologies, if this has already been discussed...

just wanted to have some opinions from Spec-op veterans...which one of the upper mentioned do you prefer? I seem to hit better with the G36C. Dunno why, but it seems to me, that the recoil (even proned) with the SCAR-L is a lot bigger on a 2-3 shot burst and i don't exactly like shooting one bullet at a time mid-range...

So how about you?

i always went with the g36c...i just like the all round feel of the 36 class of weapons...especially the sight...its easier to judge bullet drop at a distance vs a dot scope

but i am starting to find a new love for the m4...that thing is just crazy accuracte

Scar: *Pro* Has a slight increase in damage compaired to G36
*Con* Horrible recoil on any mode execpt for zoomed + single shot + prone
*Con* Rather distinct noise, so you will be spotted, heard more easily, which is not good for a spec
*Con* Red dot harder to line up proper shots on head or any other place

G36C *Pro* Sniper like accuarcy
*Con* Umm...... Cant think of any
*Pro* Zoomed mode is much easier to aim at specifics
*Pro* Softer sound, sounds like the MG36 or G36E confusing eniemies

G36C>Scar-L in my opinon

The SCAR-L has too much recoil in my opinion and doesn't make up for it in any other area, however the G36 has better accuracy, less recoil and around the same damage.

actually... the SCAR-L is considerably more powerful, but the accuracy sucks, unless u go to single shot. I prefer the SCAR.... but i just always tend to use the more powerful weapons

G36C all the way. I hate the SCAR-L accuracy, scope, and sound. G36C has power,accuracy,barely any recoil, quieter then MG36 and G36E but sounds almost the same.

The G36C ownz the SCAR-L because it's so accurate. If you aim for the head and just fire and fire, the G36C will kill the enemy within the first 5 shots at close or medium distance. The SCAR-L actually won't.
If you don't like the G36C sight, choose the SCAR-L.

Honestly, I don't like any of the SCAR weapons in the game. Like others have said, the recoil is a bit too much for my tastes. With the G36C you can fire 4 or 5 shots at medium range with much better accuracy. I find this much more useful than the 3 more damage of the SCAR-L.

yer man i cant believe i wasted a unlock on the scar... the g36c will always be the best unlock in the game ... everyone i know loves it.. even the newbies.. its is such a great gun

Same i've been finding the QBZ and M4 alot better than the G36C. Which is why i only use it if i'm Spec Opping on MEC side (even then - the AK74u isnt' bad at all).

Played with the SCAR-L from dead people's kit and it felt like an assualt rifle, which in this game means that it's unaccurate and has alot of recoil (really stupid i know). But the power will make people go back to it.

The G36C would be my choice overall, but the SCAR is a significantly better spray n' pray weapon (Karkand whores ) It seems that the 6C is more accurate, and the SCAR is more damaging.

Bullhonky. G36C is the better in every aspect that both guns.

G36C is considerably more accurate than that gun. I have 160 hours in this kit. Trust me.

And G36K in special forces is awesome. Has 3 burst and full auto modes. Plus it's a G36 so you know it's good.

I prefer the G36C over the Scar-L in most situations, but the Scar-L does have some situations where it shines. It's best use it close-up where you don't have to worry about shooting far or accurate, just getting as many bullets into the person as possible.

I gotta say the Scar-L is one ugly gun. The G36C is more pretty.

Visual aspects aside like the G36C more because of accuracy and I like the sound it makes, it's very sexy.
