Really don't care for this movie, what I'm actually looking forward to is transformer 2 and terminator 4.

Everytime I see the GI Joe trailer on TV, I ask myself, "What does this have anything to do with GI Joe?"
As a kid who loved his G.I. Joes, I have to admit that I was semi-excited when I heard they were making a movie based on it, if only for nostalgia's sake. Then, I saw a preview and the dumb-ass power armor and other stupid shit they tried to throw in, and I was less than excited...
The special effects in the preview don't even look up to Matrix standards, and that's, what, a decade old now? And then the content itself just looks abysmal - a fucking Wayans brother? This is exactly how the Dungeons and Dragons movie, which could have been a really cool movie that would potentially open up the door for infinite sequel possibilities, got ruined. (Seriously, just make the infamous Journey into Undermountain adventure into a movie....)
A perfectly viable movie franchise gutted by Hollywood shmoes...it's amazing that $100+ million gets pumped into any and every piece of trash "blockbuster"-style movie that gets pumped out these days.
