Well with the new 1.22 patch, EA fixed the firing rate on the P90. It is now 900 from the really bad 600. Anyone have a vid of it in action?

it might be all in my head but i think it's a lot better. i was killing people pretty easily with the new P90.
Sure likes ammo now. The same crappy lead "BB"s come out the end, just quicker...

I gave it a try and still dont like it. isnt it 6 hits to kill? should be more like 4, and keep the 600 rpm
It's great !!! It does eat up the ammo but at close range that's a plus. At long range just set it to semi-auto and fire away, I LOVE THIS GUN!!!!!!! W00T P90 FTW

i think all the anti tank unlocks suck, same as engineer unlocks. need better guns in most cases anything other than close range and they are completely hopeless.

That's when you pull out your pistol! I got so many pistol kills and got really good at using it because of playing as anti-tank, engineer and support (pre-patch 1.2) Counter-sniping with pistols is great fun. I love the new P90. I even loved it before it was 900 rpm.
So long as the other base factors of the P-90 remained the same, the P-90 edges out over the other SMGS in most situations. It isn't just the 5 extra rounds that will be lost in .20 seconds. But the *slight* increase in accuracy in all positions + the slightly greater distance zoom. The downfall of the p-90 is that it has the longest pull out time and reload time of all the AT-kit equipment. Anyhow, the idea behind the smgs is run-in-gun, at close to medium range combat. It isn't a sniping weapon like the AT rocket/pistol can be. But it gives you greater flexibility than the DAO-12 does at medium range, because a smg will usually get one to two kills per clip.
Hey, if SG-1 can kill jaffa like cats then the P90 is the best.

If your playing Anti-Tank you are almost always better off with the DAO-12 Shotgun kit than any of the other kits in most situations. The SMGs are useful if you know you are going to get into a LOT of Medium range to close range combat and you aren't going to be able to get into the close to point blank range where the shotgun dominates.

I was using it last night & I was pleased that I could get 3-4 kills before I would die like most other weapons, It finally unloads the bullets quick enough to kill but damn it eats the clips fast.
