You WON'T Be BackTaxpayers United to Recall Governor Schwarzenegger received official notice from The Secretary of State's Office at 11:00am that our Petition to Recall Governor Schwarzenegger has been approved!!! The clock is now ticking... In order to bring the actual election to fruition, over 1 Million valid signatures will be required. We have an immediate need for volunteers to help gather signatures. We also have an immediate need for additional funding to cover the expense of organizing and housing the petitions. Please visit the Get Involved Area for more information.

The downloadable Petition will be added to the site this afternoon and petitions will be available for signing at both the San Diego and Corona Tax Protests tomorrow. More information will be posted this afternoon after everything is in place and online...

The economy was already a wreck. Don't blame a man who has no money worries when he doesn't understand financial distress or how to mend it. But, in a brilliant move by what apparently was a majority of oblivious Californians...they elected a rich actor, not an economist. The ability to deliver a quality stump speech should not be the only reason to elect someone.

Sort of like watching a blazing warehouse fire and choosing to call a cobbler as opposed to the fire department.

One side of the legislature is filled with spendthrifts and the other side is filled with scrooges. Talk about irreconcilable differences.
The problem is just like a dysfunctional household where the wife has a credit card and the husband refuses to pay the bills.

The solution is simple either tax at the level of spending or cut spending... or at least meet somewhere in the middle because piling on more and more debt is just like digging your own grave.

And then there is California politics. From what I've heard and its limited at best, its Arnold that tried to force both sides towards the middle and of course now they want to kick him out.

Maybe PBO needs to declare marshall law in California, give Arnold a big gun and let him clean out the legislature terminator/commando style before the San Andreas slides Cali into the pacific because of the shear weight of all the unpaid bills that are piling up.... I think I should run that story line by Hollywood

The entire basis on this recall is that the governor is being fiscally irresponsible. How fiscally responsible is it to saddle the state with an entirely unnecessary and useless recall election while we can't even balance the budget with the costs we already have?

The last time we recalled the governor, it cost us $25 million to hold the special election.

Tell you what. How about everyone who is for this recall take a seat and actually think about it. Not just fume and rant, but complete an entire train of thought on the subject.

The next election is in less than a year. Stop being such a god damn emotional pendulum.
