Meh, only a 5.0, not a big deal. It felt like a long one though. I was sitting here at my desk enjoying it (And then went on facebook and saw 50 status updates within seconds of each other all saying "earthquake!")

I liked the quakes better when I lived in the liquefaction zone. They sort of roll. Where I live in the hills they boom and the house shakes in a entirely different manner; sharp. Sort of scary tbh.

from what i understood, when he was questioned by the parents about safety plans and contingencies, our campus safety chief actually said "i don't know"
didn't really matter though, i was given offers of safe haven in orlando, st. cloud, mississippi, and georgia in case anything went down
