WTF, France won 5 times?!

Who actually watches this shit anyway, mostly weirdo's from continental Europe and Eastern Europeans nations looking for something to be happy about for once

I think overall quality was much better this year and organization was epic! I always watch even in the bad years. The whole family watches and gives points, this was the first time since years the family average didn't lie between a 2 and a 4 (or a 10 point scale).

Final resulst were a tad dissapointing though. Still 75% politics and personally I don't think Norway should have won. It's a funny song, but also a rather easy one (performance wise) and I find it gets repetative after a minute or so. Don't get me wrong it >>> any song of the last five years or so, but this year there were better contestants. I think that there are at least six or seven other countries that would have won straight away if they had entered in one of the previous years.

I have deep respect for Albania in the songfestival. Despite being perhaps the most shitty country in Europe (running up with Moldavia), they have provided very decent songs both this year and the previous one (when everything else was still shite), with contestants of respectively 17 and 16 years old.

The girl this year had a pretty unique sound to her voice. She probably needs to be a bit older for it to "manifest" properly though.

Yup. And it says quite a lot of the quality of this years contest if someone wins with such huge margin.
