I've done the long and laborious D&ST posts, have clashed with lowing on matters too... it's boring, you quickly become very aware that the 'intelligent' and 'mature' side of BF2s posting revolves around the same 4 discussion-points and the exact same debating strategy everytime: a) your source sux, b) ur just wrong and my experience > yours and c) your rationally presented logic does not defeat me because I have 101 other unrelated anecdotes to tangentally engage with and thus DEFEAT YOU. Now it's more fun to jump straight to the part where you stand on other peoples toes... within reasonable and rule-enforced bounds, of course .
