I have an offer of 20k in cash, 18k in machineery, a franchise of a supply house and a partnership with a major supplier in Ohio.

The hitch is I have to move to the Portland area.

After all the carnage here, it's still a hard decision.

The California state government has spent the last 15 years fucking up California with taxes, driving hundreds of big and small businesses away, and overspending.  They started this special election to try to get the people to agree to more taxes to fund the things that matter.  What they don't tell you, of course, is what they are doing with all of the money they should already be spending on the things that matter.  Basically, they say they need more money for schools, but in the meantime, they are spending the money formerly meant for schools on their own wasteful little pet projects.

So the things that stryyker put in the OP, were those initiatives supposed to help rectify those issues you listed?

No, they were going to allow it to get worse.  Basically, they are squandering our money on useless shit, and they want to raise taxes on us to pay for the important stuff.  We voted for no more taxes, so now(hopefully) they are going to have to cut down on the wasteful spending.

2/3rds to raise taxes in the legislator.  Republican's stopped them so they made these ballot measures.

Tell us how you really feel.

9.55% income tax FTL btw.  Proposition 1A was to extend the taxes for several more years.

8.50-10.50% Sales Tax too.
