Ignore the date. IIRC they got the injunction and the Mongols lost their rights to their name.

Now despite my hate for crime that I'm not benefiting from I think it's horrible for them to lose their name like that.

I think it's pretty retarded, taking colors from bikers are going to cause a lot more problems then solutions. 

It's like How most gang members can't say that they aren't in a gang to avoid an arrest. They're bound by an honor that won't allow that to happen peacefully. But we'll see how it goes.

No doubt this will be received by the Mongols as a wildly disrespectful act. I don't think they will like how this makes them look to rival gangs either. They will be looking to regain their lost respect the only way they know how, and that's probably not good for anyone living in S. Cali.
