Hey,

My friend has a question;

Distinguished Service Ribbon
Requirements:
IAR: 15 team points
10h Total time as squad member √
10h Total time as squad leader √
10h Total time as commander √

He only needs 15 team points, but how can he get those?

Get 15 teampoints as commander or just as a soldier?

(i did looked with the search button, but i coulnd find anything)

Team points are gained by:

Taking Flag: 4 points possible per flag cap +2 for neutralizing, +2 for capture.
Assisting a flag capture: +1 neutralize asisst, +1 capture assist
Revive +2
Heal +1
Give ammo +1
Repair +1
Kill damage assist +1

The best bet is not to be commander. As commander, you should NOT be running around engaging in these activites (there are exceptions to this but it is more detail than I want to get into)

Lol i'm not a n00b , i know how to earn teampoints ect. , but my (friend's) question whas;
Do you need to earn those 15/45 teampoints while being commander or fighting as soldier?

Nah nah, just earn them any old way. You don't have to even be a squad member if you dont want to, you just need a plain old 15 team points in a round.

Soldier.

Commanders do not get teampoints ( for dropping ammo or healing/reviving, neither for capping a flags).
