Whenever somebody brings up the debate of circumcision I always say "Do it while they are young and won't remember". I always say this because it speaks from my own personal experience of being circumcised at the age of 9. This is the story of the ordeal.
At an early age I had a penis problem that had to do with the skin of my penis. It would have corrected itself eventually but my parents thought it would be best to get it cut. So at the urging of my doctor I was going to get a circumcision at the age of 9. Though I think my mom has some kind of fetish about cutting off the skin of people's penises since she made her first husband before my dad get cut at the age of 20 something.
Anyway I remember going to the hospital and being in the emergency room. They said breath this in, it was some sort of mask. One breath and I was out. The next thing I remember was waking up somewhere in a hospital recovery room.
There were two nurses and they were talking over my body they pulled up my robe and looked at my penis and shook their heads and kept talking. I then remember being with my parents in another hospital recovery room and really having to pee. So I went to the bathroom only to have my first panic attack. I go to take a piss and look down and my whole dick is red and raw. Also anything rubbing against it really hurt.
I was 9 and from that age to the age of 13 I did not look at or touch my own penis. Until the age of 15 I always wore briefs because boxers used to rub against my penis in a way I didn't like. At the age of 13 I finally got over my phobias and began to touch and look at my penis again. 13 year old girls will make you get over any phobia.
As for the not learning sports and things, I didn't do a lot of things when I was younger because I had this phobia and I didn't want any situations to arise where I would have to explain myself to anyone else.
I started wearing boxers at the age of 15 when I was institutionalized in Saint Mary's hospital for 4 days. But that is another story. As for my penis everything works fine for it, I no longer have any phobias regarding it, and it is a pretty good size.
So my position on circumcision is to to get it done on the child when they are infants so that they won't remember it or get any phobias.
