Just wondering if anyone, on their net-stumbling's has come across some form of splitter that can take 4 pin iPhone headphones, and route them out to separate Mic/Phones jacks?

I understand that the button'll be useless and blabidyblah. But I still want.

Karmaz to winnar?

There are, but I think he easiest way to acquire one is to go to a local electronics store and ask.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Lots of cellphone headsets have used a 2.5mm 4-pole (4 contact) headphone jack to support a Left, Right, Mic, and Ground conductor. This way, one cable supports stereo headphones and a microphone.

As of a few years ago, the same thing has been used with a 3.5mm jack (standard headphone size) in MP3 players for video out and for the iPhone headset.

Not sure why the OP wants it, but I couldn't find one online.

Tl;Dr: Not precisely what he's looking for.

I want one because I'm getting into using Skype recently(IE I'm about to buy a subscription) and a friend of mine had a spare set of iPhone headphones. but my compie is a 4.5 year old iBook G4 so it doesn't support the 4 pin mic headphones. So I wanna find some form of breakout cable  + a USB soundcard I have and use the buds.

Wait what? Just get a USB headset, or any headset and use that.

I like the convenience of the headphones. Don't judge/counteract my logic plz. I have a USB headset that I currently use, but it tends to be a bit squeaky when I move my head around. And a new one costs ~$30, a breakout cable would cost $10 Tops (If it exists)

As far as Skype costing, we have no home phone in our house, and by paid subscription, I mean the Unlimited calling to ACTUAL phones in all of North America(NOT just other computers)

Depending on your local electronics store, that might be the hardest way. They might just gape at you with a glazed-eye expression.
