Ok, here's something for you. My sister isn't working cause she is on maternity leave. She works the same job as me, earning a basic €400 a week. Her husband(just so us know is a very big strong fella, no need for a gun if he's around) is a Carpenter, and that business has gone to hell now with the construction business gone to shit also, the reason they have their stuff is cause of hard work and lots of it. So she's not a rich snob trying to be better than everyone, her & his hard work gets rewarded and for us to say something like that shows you're a bunch of tools.usmarine wrote:

I have a job, i pay taxes and hate bludgers, but why the fuck does one house need 4 flat screen TV's, and why does anyone need BMW? what the fucks wrong with a normal car? are they trying to prove they're better than everyone else with material possessions?Hurricane2k9 wrote:
you idiots sound like the kind of people who would abuse unemployment benefits even though you'd be perfectly capable of finding a job
And for the record, she has lots of bills and a heavy mortgage to pay also. She's not some rich wanker, you both have come to conclusions too easily, so I'd ask you this kindly, don't post here with your "material possessions/ are for elitists", she worked hard for what she owned. She was going to be selling the car soon enough for a family car/van thing too cause she has 4 kids now and the BMW was to small for them all.
And the reason she has 4 TV's. 1 in the sitting room/aka the main room in the house, like everyone has. 1 in their bedroom, which most people have. 1 in the daughters bedroom, and most people would have TV's in their bedroom I would think. And lastly 1 in the "game room" which is for the kids to play thing's like the Wii or Playstation on(Playstation was also stolen).
But seriously, that quote... says alot of a person. I won't say this to sound like internet hardman making a flame, but you should both be ashamed of yourselves.
Also, it appears the camcorder was stolen.
That's a very good post buddy I must say. I will say this to my sister see what she thinks about it.Uzique wrote:
Apparently the most common form of house burglaries are car-based now. I doubt it's anyone that knows your sister and planned a tactical house-looting whilst she was out- more probably a case of someone seeing a nice car on the drive, breaking into the house to find the keys (after all who stumbles across car keys whilst intending to rob 'large' items?) and then took the bonus TV's whilst they made their getaway. It's an audacious thing to do but according to some crime analysts it's the new 'in thing' for petty criminals and repeat offenders to do. Hope she regains the value of all that plunder.
Anyway the forensics are finished and it appears there's no clues left at the crime scene.
