I don't understand the marblecake thing

When the pollsters first looked at the results and saw that the "top rated" had 16 million votes, they should have immediately known something was up.

Also, marblecake was a recent mass of lulz when anon uploaded large amounts of porn onto youtube under the title of marblecake or with marblecake in the description.

The idea was that if enough porn was uploaded at once, youtube couldn't take it down fast enough. After a few hours youtube admin got wind of it and realised how much porn was uploaded under the descriptions of marblecake, twilight, hannah montanna, etc.

It was pretty lulzy.

If you had searched marblecake on youtube, the porn that came up was pretty sick however (but then again, you'd expect that from 4chan).
